It can be summarized in the following <strong>steps<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"paso-1-presentar-el-formulario-i-130-ante-uscis\">Step 1 &#8211; File Form I-130 with USCIS<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>citizen or permanent resident<\/strong> spouse must <strong>file Form I-130<\/strong> (Petition for Alien Relative) with USCIS to <strong>prove the valid spousal relationship<\/strong>.
