Karla Verma is an Associate Attorney at the Urbina Law Firm focusing on immigration and criminal law. Mrs. Verma has a B.S. in Spanish from the University of Georgia and a J.D. from the Charleston School of Law. Having grown up in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, Mrs. Verma is fluent in Spanish, and often represents clients with limited English proficiency. Additionally, Mrs. Verma interned at the South Carolina Legal Services Migrant Division, where she traveled the state to inform migrant farm workers of their rights and ensure that their employers adhered to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards. Mrs. Verma has experience in dealing with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Executive Office of Immigration Review (EOIR), Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and Customs and Border Protection (CBP). She is also an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Georgia Hispanic Bar Association. While away from the office, she enjoys hiking, traveling, dancing, and spending time with her family and lovable Pitbull, Krush.
