Urbina Immigration Law: your partner in migratory affairs

Karla Barrios graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor’s in Political Science and a minor in History, and earned her Juris Doctor from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School in 2021. She began her legal career as a paralegal in workers’ compensation and personal injury law, and briefly practiced workers’ compensation after passing the bar in November 2021. In April 2022, she joined Urbina Immigration Law, focusing on immigration cases. Born to Guatemalan parents, her cultural background has deeply influenced her approach to immigration law. Having often served as a bridge between English-speaking attorneys and Spanish-speaking family members, she is passionate about guiding clients through the immigration process with empathy, hope, and understanding.

Outside of work, she enjoys outdoor activities, spending time with family and friends, reading, and listening to true crime podcasts.
