Wendy Rua studied Psychology at the University of Rhode Island, a foundation that continues to shape her thoughtful and people-centered approach to her work. She joined Urbina Immigration Law after building a strong background in customer service and retail.

Starting as the firm’s receptionist, Wendy advanced through multiple roles, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the firm’s operations and the client journey. Her dedication and growth ultimately led her to her current position as Chief Operating Officer, where she supports both the team and the families the firm serves.

Wendy’s Colombian heritage deeply influences the way she leads and connects with others. It inspires her to approach every client with empathy, remain mindful of individual circumstances, and provide the level of respect and guidance she would want for her own family. Outside of work, Wendy enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, reading, traveling, and exploring new restaurants and local experiences.
